Prof NV Raghuram ji

Spiritual Guide and Founder President of Yoga Bharati, Bengaluru

Prof NV Raghuram ji is one of the globally renowned Yoga-Spiritual masters. He is one of the senior Acharyas and pioneer member of the erstwhile Vivekananda Kendra Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, and Prashanti Kutiram, Bengaluru. He had served as the International Director for S-VYASA. He has travelled widely across many countries of the globe conducting Yoga Teacher’s Training, Yoga and Spiritual Retreats and presenting in Conferences.  He along with his wife Dr Nagarathna, who is a co-founder of S-VYASA, had guided thousands of Yoga Therapy Participants with psychosomatic problems to come out of their sufferings through Yoga Therapy and Yogic Counseling at Arogyadhama Holistic Health centre. He is the spiritual guide and founder president of Yoga Bharati which has centres in India, USA, Canada and Turkey.

Prof Raghuram ji underwent training in yoga and philosophy under several saints since early childhood. Swami Prabhuddhananda and Prof Satyanarayana Sasty had profound role to play in his spiritual development. Prior to getting full time into Yoga –Spirituality, Prof NV Raghuram ji had completed his engineering from NIT Bhopal and worked for some years in various capacities in Government Projects.

Prof Raghuram ji is actively associated with several scientific research projects in Yoga in many countries which includes a cancer research project in Houston Texas Funded by NIH, neurological hospital in Germany, Heart hospital in Turkey etc.  He writes thoughtful articles on Yoga Philosophy. For the cause of yoga he travelled more than forty countries. He was part of the delegation to UNO for a conference in Education in Uruguay, and for WHO for holistic health at Geneva Switzerland. He mentors several Yoga Sadhakas in Yoga –Spirituality as well.

He had served as the President of Hindu University of America in Florida. A recipient of many awards and titles including Yogashree award from Dr BKS Iyengar Guruji.  He is mentor for many organizations like ‘Global Vedika California USA’ ‘Youth for seva’, ‘Disha’ and Adhyatma Yoga in Bengaluru. All his activities are fully charitable in nature. His only one son and his daughter in law are also fully into the field of yoga therapy research and applications.
