Yogacharya Sri Rudradev Swamiji  is the founder of Yoga Study Centre at Rishikesh. He is one of the senior most direct disciples of Dr BKS Iyengar Guruji who had been closely associated and learned from Guruji for more than three decades. Swamiji is a staunch disciple of Swami Shivananda Saraswati of RIshikesh. He has learnt Spirituality from Masters like Swami Chidananda Saraswati and Swami Krishnananda Saraswati of Shivananda Ashrama.  Other than training Yoga aspirants in the tradition of Iyengar Yoga at his ashrama at Rishikesh, Swamiji also travels to a lot of places including Bengaluru, Davanegere, Bellur and China to conduct Yoga Retreats. Swamiji has established a beautiful Yoga Ashrama at Jade his birth place in Karnataka and has built beautiful temples for Sri Krishna, Sri Rama, Ganapati , Shiva and Patanjali. The Ashrama has a unique shrine for Sri Krishna’s  Panchajanya shanka and Murali the flute.  Swamiji  has also made wonderful pictorial creative displays of Yogic concepts all around the ashrama. He has authored the book Yoga Darshana which was published by Shivananda Ashrama, Rishikesh.

Swamiji is one of the guiding forces for Adhyatma Yoga and he visits the shala annually conducting his Yoga sadhana retreats.
